Will it work on my computer?

A Windows PC or Laptop or Mac OS X and good internet connection are the only requirements to run VoiceboxMD Advanced Medical Dictation. VoiceboxMD for Mobile is compatible with iOS 10.x and above.

You can take VoiceboxMD compatibility test to ensure the microphone you have is adequate for dictation.

Can I change plans and add seats later?

Can I use to dictate emails and word documents?

VoiceboxMD is compatible on most Mac and Windows Apps including MS Word, Outlook, Excel. You can also use VoiceboxMD as a regular dictation software to dictate emails.

What microphones are supported?

VoiceboxMD is compatible with most microphones that produce 16-bit to 24-bit samples. The internal laptop microphone works just as well. For better accuracy and dictation in noisy environment, we recommend either a Samson Go Mic or Philips Speech Mike.

The Premium Plan ($139/mo) is our Hybrid AI Scribe. It includes "Ambient Listening" (Doctor-Patient Comprehension), which listens to your exam room conversation and writes the SOAP note for you automatically. It also includes all dictation features, giving you the best of both worlds.

Choose the Power Plan if you need flexibility. It adds two critical features:

Audio Uploads: You can record a patient visit on a voice recorder or phone app while offline, upload the file later, and have VoiceboxMD transcribe it instantly.
Multi-Device Support: Power allows you to stay logged in on up to 3 devices (e.g., Office Mac, Exam Room Laptop, and iPhone), whereas Essential is limited to one active device.
