Ambient or dictation, or both
Some vendors price the ambient scribe as the product and do not list a dictation mode. If you would rather dictate the short visits and record the long ones, check which plan includes dictation before you compare prices.
Whether the BAA is included
A signed Business Associate Agreement is a HIPAA requirement, not a premium feature. On their pricing pages, Twofold says "BAA on every plan", Sunoh lists a BAA as included, and Freed lists an organization-wide BAA on its Groups plan. Ask which plan includes it before comparing headline prices.
Contract length
Vendors sold through a sales process may ask for an annual commitment, implementation fees or a minimum seat count. Ask before you compare: a monthly price on a twelve-month commitment is a decision worth twelve times that price.
Monthly or annual billing
