Yes. VoiceboxMD runs natively on macOS 12 or later (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows 10, and Windows 11 including the 24H2 update. iOS and Android apps and a web app are also included, with notes syncing automatically to your desktop workstation.

Yes. VoiceboxMD uses a medical speech model that recognizes prescription drug names, clinical abbreviations, anatomy, diagnostic procedures and specialty terminology. You can add the terms you use to your own custom vocabulary so they are recognized too.

Yes. VoiceboxMD is HIPAA compliant across all products and platforms. Security features include AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, automatic audio deletion within 7 days and role-based access controls. A Business Associate Agreement is included on every plan at no extra cost.

It depends on how you chart today, so we do not quote a fixed number. The time comes from speaking instead of typing, and from finishing notes during the day instead of in after-hours "pajama time" charting. The free trial is the best way to measure it on your own athenaOne visits.

It depends on your remote client. VoiceboxMD pastes text at the cursor of whatever window has focus. Inside a Citrix, VMware or Remote Desktop session, that works only if the remote client passes the paste through, so test it in your own environment during the trial.

Yes. The VoiceboxMD mobile app (iPhone and Android) lets you dictate or record a visit between exam rooms, during rounds, or on house calls. By the time you sit down at your Mac or Windows PC, the notes are waiting for you to review and copy into athenaOne. Your phone can also act as the desktop app's microphone, so your words land at the cursor in athenaOne. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Yes. VoiceboxMD supports custom templates, voice macros, and accelerators for commonly used documentation scenarios in athenahealth. Create templates for SOAP notes, H&P, progress notes, discharge summaries, and specialty-specific encounters. Use voice macros to insert entire documentation blocks, such as normal exam findings or standard review of systems, with a single phrase.

VoiceboxMD offers three plans: Essential at $49 per month (the ambient AI scribe with no note cap, real-time dictation, medical vocabulary, custom templates), Power at $79 per month (adds ICD-10 and CPT code suggestions, referral and prior-auth letters, after-visit summaries, orders checklists and pre-recorded audio upload), and Premium at $99 per month (adds a writing style learned from your own edits). Annual billing saves up to 8%. All plans include a free trial, 7 days for monthly billing, 14 days for annual billing.
